Terms of service
Last updated 6 July 2026
These terms cover your use of Become One. By creating an event or contributing to one, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
The service
Become One lets event guests share photos, videos, and guest-book messages by scanning a QR code, and lets the couple review and keep them. The service is currently a free beta and is provided on an as-is basis while we build it out.
Your account
Couples and organisers are responsible for keeping their sign-in details secure and for the activity on their event. You must be able to enter into these terms on behalf of your event.
Acceptable use
- Do not upload unlawful, abusive, or infringing content.
- Couples are responsible for letting their guests know that photos, videos, and messages are collected and shown, and for having a lawful basis to do so.
- Do not attempt to disrupt, overload, or gain unauthorised access to the service.
Content and ownership
Couples and guests keep the rights to the content they contribute. You grant us the limited licence needed to host, process, and display that content so the service can work. We may remove content that breaks these terms or the law, and our staff can permanently delete abusive material.
Availability
Because the service is in beta, we may add, change, pause, or remove features, and we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability.
Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the service is provided without warranties and our liability to you is limited. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms as the product develops; the date at the top shows when they last changed. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Questions: [email protected].
